Thursday - March 18:
Zac Brown Band has launched it’s pre show “Eat and Greets’ to rave reviews. Zac says, “we wanted this
tour to be an experience for all the senses & we want people coming to our show to smell the food
cooking.” Friends tell me the food’s amazing!
Willie Nelson’s just formed Luck Films & he’ll produce 3 to 5 movies a year for his company based out of
Luck, Texas. The first he’ll do are 'Shootout of Luck' and 'The Dry Gulch Kid,’ both starring Willie & his
music. Before that tho, Willie will be on the big screen as the voice of Sage in the animated film, 'The
Wild Bunch.’ It’s about herbs trying to save their land from being overtaken by genetically-enhanced
foliage.
Brad Paisley's 'American Saturday Night Tour' is over & his stats are out. Among other things, he & his
crew went thru 41,000 bottles of water, 12,840 guitar picks & nearly 4,000 AA batteries.
Josh Turner is on Letterman tonight & Blake Shelton’s on E! Entertainment's 'Chelsea Lately.’
Finally - as for his curly hair, Blake says, “at photo shoots it’ll do anything you want for a minute then 5
minutes later I turn into Carrot Top. No matter what I do, it’ll always go back to it’s original form.”
Wednesday - March 17:
Keith Urban, The Eagles & The Dixie Chicks are teaming up for a stadium tour of North America, kicking
off June 8th. Only 8 dates have been announced, but more may be added. American Express card
members will be the 1st to be able to buy tickets March 22nd - everyone else has to wait till March 29th.
Keith will not be at the shows tho in Toronto, Winnipeg & St. Louis, MO.
Taylor Swift's Fearless album has just been certified gold in Russia.
Carrie Underwood’s fiancé Mike & her dog Ace are finally friends but she said it took awhile.
Miranda Lambert says the last time she cried was seeing wounded soldiers the other day at Walter Reed
Medical Center. Miranda says, “I didn’t cry in front of them but it was all so overwhelming.”
The Cooker was my favorite place to eat in Nashville before it closed but not before I got the recipe for

Craig tweeted he has to stop by home – his son just wrecked his truck - he's ok but Craig wants to
check on the truck’s damage.

Tuesday - March 16:
New guy Justin Moore got his guitar back. It was stolen off stage a few days ago, he tweeted that he was
going to find it, it had a lot of sentimental value. The guy who stole it returned it to a Detroit radio station
yesterday saying how sorry he was, he’d been drinking. He send a note saying to pay him back, he was
going to buy 50 of Justin’s CD’s today.
Yesterday, a judge ordered a temporary injunction against Sara Evans ex-husband, Craig Schelske.
Their 07 divorce agreement says he can’t talk about her or why they were divorced but the other day
Craig talked about her while he was promoting the passage of a bill in the Tennessee Legislature to
establish equal parenting time in divorce cases & he also discussed it on a syndicated radio show.
Lady Antebellum’s Hilary Scott’s just written a song with Miranda Lambert that’s on Blake Shelton's
album later this year. It’s called "Suffocating” & Hilary sings harmony on it as well. Lady A also has 1 big
goal for this year - to be on Saturday Night Live.
Will Blake Shelton ever be on ‘Dancing with the Stars’ he says, ‘I will never be hungry enough to be on. I
can’t dance and why would I want to showcase that on national television?”
Craig Morgan is on Fox News Channel’s Hannity tomorrow.
Joe Nichols pulled over yesterday for speeding in Texas but he got no ticket.
Finally - I asked Diamond Rio’s Marty Roe if I opened his fridge, what would I find…he said something
moldy, some bratwurst and mac & cheese that he made for his nephews college buddies.
Monday - March 15:
Carrie Underwood’s in Country Weekly – she’s hired a wedding planner so she won’t get stressed. She
says that day she won’t be Carrie the entertainer, she'll just be Carrie marrying Mike.’ They’ll live in both
Nashville and Ottawa so Mike can play hockey. Carrie says she’s ok with that as she grew up a loner &
being alone’s not a problem for her.
Charles, Dave and Hilary from Lady Antebellum say in their early days, the band was so broke, when
they traveled to radio stations, they all shared one room at Motel 6.
Whenever Tim & Faith are in Washington DC, they eat at Blue Duck Tavern & just some of the fare
includes roasted bone marrow with a sea urchin crust, they also have whole pheasant for 2 – cooked in
a salt dough & for a side dish, how bout’ some yummy warm swiss chard and raisin pie.
New guy Chris Young is single & looking for a girl. All she needs to have is 5 things – she has to be
funny, like to stay up late & she has to be into music, McDonald's & movies.
Jamey Johnson will release 2 albums this year – one he calls a 'white album', with upbeat songs & a
'black album', out after that with more somber tunes.
Finally - Kellie Pickler tweets ‘woke up this morning with a diamond in my nose & a heart on my foot.”
Friday - March 5:
Is it just me or does John Rich’s house look like an office that was built from Lego’s? Neighbors says it
doesn’t fit in & as for the bright lights John has aimed at them…turns out he’s violating city code & he
has 30 days to fix it. My friend Lisa says from the road, she could see the disco saddle light he has in his
home bar. On his gate that was vandalized he now has a sign that says, "keep out, this property’s
protected by the second amendment." That by-the-way is John’s legal right to keep and bear arms.
Carrie Underwood’s tour opened last night & at one point she sang John Denver's "Take Me Home,
Country Roads" in the bed of a pickup, suspended on wires over the crowd.
In her family, Reba’s famous for making baked beans at any get-together and I now have the secret
recipe, given to me by her sister Alice. It’s in the recipes section at my web site.
Trisha Yearwood wants to get 10,000 fans on facebook by April 6th,when her new cookbook’s out.
Finally - today’s the grand opening of Dolly Parton’s store, Trinkets & Treasures in downtown Nashville.
