Here are some of the FUN spots in Nashville but once you're here you will find more…
Of course the Opry, the Wildhorse which has great food & entertainment, the Country Music Hall of Fame and of course
Music Row, which is 16th & 17th Avenue.
If you have a car, drive to Franklin (about 40 minutes away). So many stars live there you will be bound to see someone
including Brad Paisley & Wynonna.
The Galleria Mall at Cool Springs just off I-65 near Franklin has lots of lot of neat shops including Starbucks, Panera Bread
Company, and lots of good restaurants too....
The Opryland Hotel is a must see and a tour in itself and the Opry Mills Mall is a great place to shop. So it the Green Hills
Mall & you could very well see The McGraw’s & Alan Jackson.
The Charlie Daniels' Museum is good too. The Hermitage Museum – home of Andrew Jackson, has a great self or guided
tour.
To eat & see the stars – The Pancake Pantry off Music Row, Melpark Restaurant on 8th Avenue, The Tin Roof, The Cooker
on West End, the White Trash Café, Longhorn Steakhouse.
Head to Broadway to see Tootsie's & you can catch a trolly on Broadway that will take you on other riding tours or try taking a
Grey Line tour for a Nashville overview.
the Parthenon, the Hermitage (Andrew Jackson's home), Belle Meade Mansion.
One of the best tours to take is the Nash Trash Tour, which beats a boring bus tour any day. Summer, Nashville Shores is
great. It's a water park with slides, wave pools, jet skis, paddle boats, cruises, swimming, etc. If it's songwriters and music,
then its the Bluebird, the Sutler, Douglas Corner, etc.

The Wildhorse is a very nice bar & concert hall but Tootsie’s is more honky tonk experience. A MUST see - the Bluebird café
in Green Hills. A songwriters and new star hang out. The coolest place for music has to be the Country Music Hall of Fame
near the arena. Plan to spend about 4 hours in there to get the full experience .The Opry is a 4 hour evening event.
The Opry Mills Mall is a nice Mall. Alabama and NASCAR both have restaurants.
Eating: Mario’s is the best upper class place (Italian). You see the real movers and shakers at that place. The Palm or Eddie’
s is good too and you will see stars.
Jack’s Bar-b-cue on Lower Broadway is really good. The Stockyard, Flemings and Ruth Chris are easy very good steak
places. Jimmy Kelley’s is too. The Pancake Pantry near Vanderbilt is Vince Gills guilty pleasure. Melpark on Franklin road is
where you can eat with folks like Eddy Arnold and Ray Stevens.
Places to stay: Music City Sheraton. The Vanderbilt Plaza and the Hermitage.
Shopping: The Green Hills Mall - Martina & Faith are there a lot.
There is one outlet mall and it’s good. It’s east of Nashville near Lebanon . A Ralph Lauren outlet among others. There’s a
beautiful drive south of Nashville called the Natchez Trace. It is a federal highway with a 45 mph speed limit & it is policed.
But it is breathtaking and goes from Nashville all the way to Tupelo and beyond.
A good place to stay is the downtown Hilton, it's across the street from the Country Music Hall of Fame plus you can walk up
to Broadway (world famous Tootsie's and other live country music hangouts). Broadway is a couple of blocks from Second
Avenue, where both the Wildhorse and Charlie Daniels' Museum is located. Also catch a trolly bus down on Broadway that will
take them on other riding tours (like Music Row). Also take a Grey Line tour for a Nashville overview.
